I was super tired last night and fell asleep after reading 4.5 pages of Pride and Prejudice (P&P). Actually I’m going to be really busy for the next week… but that’s okay, because I figure that if I just read 4.5 pages everyday until next Friday, and then starting next Friday I read 34.5 pages each night, that I should be able to finish the book in time for the book club (now 14 days away). Am I right?
What if I decided to read 5.5 pages today (to make my avg reading for the past two days 5p/day) and 5 pages every day after that for the next few days. How many days could I keep doing this (reading 5p/day) without having to read more than 30 pages a day in order to finish the book on time?
At what point should I just give up on the book?
